2012 Essay and Oratory Contest

The Greater Augusta Chapter of Georgia Right to Life is pleased to announce our annual Oratory and Essay contest for high school students. The oratory is open to juniors and seniors while the essay is open to freshmen and sophomores. Home school students from respective grade levels are welcome to participate. The entry deadline for both contests is March 31, 2012. The oratory contest will be held April 14, 2012 at 6pm, at Abilene Baptist Church. A two part training program Purpose: To train individuals on how to dialog with others about Pro-Life issues, to change hearts, and save lives. This will ultimately be accomplished through the presentation of Pro-Life display exhibits at schools, churches, fairs, or other locations. Students attend one day of classroom training followed by one day of hands on experience at an actual Pro-Life display exhibit. Part 1- Classroom Training: Saturday, March 26th, 2011, 10:00 AM to 4 PM (lunch included) Part 2- Display Exhibit: Thursday, March 31st, 2011 Location: Augusta State University Campus, Augusta, Georgia Sponsored by the ASU Newman Club, ASU Students for Life, and the Greater Augusta Chapter of Georgia Right to Life.
